We Lost the Plot
Mercury Retrograde in Pisces theme
There's too many story lines and we've lost the plot. It's too much to keep up with.
Why do have so many stories? Why do we tell ourselves these narratives?
And there's so many characters. We don't even like most of them.
So what are we doing?

The brain likes answers. We like meaning so we give it meaning, but they're not good meanings. We make the world out to be the villain, but is it? Is it the villain or full of villains? Or are we just our own worst critic? We are just in constant fear of making the wrong choice and imposter syndrome.
We're the problem.
What if you're not though? Yes the world is full of villains but why are we making them our villains? Or nemesis and frenemies? We don't have to write them into the story. They don't need to play a role. They do because we gave them one. We are giving these narratives way more power than they actually have.
Of course we want it to have a deeper meaning. We want it to mean something because then why did it happen? What was the purpose? If we're here, living and breathing the experience, it must mean something. That's what movies and TV tells us too isn't it? They tell stories all the time and we resonate with a good handful. Either have a similar experience or it identified something we struggled to identify ourselves. Then we cling onto them, they're validating, why wouldn't you?
They start becoming our perspective and our lens of awareness. Its just the same when someone points our a blue car and now you seem blue cars everywhere. We have brought consciousness to an unconscious part of ourselves.
That's how we start to lose the plot because based on new information we start to change the narrative. You can either now become the hero of your story or you're the victim.
You have the power to decide and you can be anyone you really want. The reality is we tell ourselves stories to escape the reality of what is.. The attempt to avoid an emotion of shame, guilt, stupidity, and so on. We need all of those emotions. As much as they pain us with discomfort, you need them. That's how we experience the human experience. We think by having faith, religion, spirituality, all of these frameworks are meant to give us answers. They are answers, but it's only half the journey. You still have to do the work. The introspection and self reflection. Instead they get used as scapegoats and a way to escape the reality of what's in front of us.
What you should really be asking yourself is where do you feel disempowered? Where do you feel out of control?
This is your moment of having power as the story teller and the narrator and the eyes this is being witnessed through.
Find your footing.
Take hold of the wheel and find your power.
What can you do in this moment?
You have to trust yourself to do the right thing. And you have to trust other people are also doing the right thing for them even from the outside looking in its anything but.
This is what Mercury in Pisces is having us rework. What stories have you been telling yourself that is ripping at the seams. Saturn and Neptune are now in Aries. We're so eager to get our boots on the ground running.
But if we don't know where we're going, we will lose momentum fast. It's about as bad as Lightning Mcqueen not taking a pit stop so he could win first place and it backfired.
What is the reality of a situation that we are missing?
Where did we let emotion take over the logic?
Where did we lose the plot?
